Energy & Focus

Fight fatigue and stay sharp through the day.

Fatigue usually traces back to the basics — sleep, stress, and nutrition — before it's ever a supplement problem. These options support the body's normal energy production and can help most when a genuine nutrient gap or a high-demand stretch is part of the picture.

What to look for

B vitamins, CoQ10, and adaptogens that support natural energy production.

What the research supports

Recommended supplements

  • B-ComplexB vitamins are cofactors your cells use to turn food into usable energy. Supplementing mainly helps when intake is low, which is common with vegetarian or vegan diets, heavy alcohol use, or certain medications.
  • CoQ10A compound your mitochondria use to generate energy; levels decline with age and with statin use. A meta-analysis of randomized trials found it can modestly reduce fatigue.
  • RhodiolaAn adaptogenic herb traditionally used for stamina and stress-related tiredness. Early trials are encouraging but had methodological limits, so treat it as promising rather than proven.

Things to keep in mind

If fatigue is persistent, new, or severe, see your provider first — it can signal thyroid, iron, sleep, or mood issues that a supplement won't fix. Rhodiola and high-dose B vitamins can interact with some medications.
